Bioethics in Healthcare

Christina Sisti is committed to cancer advocacy, policy, and research. She has a Doctorate from Albany Medical College, specializing in Health Policy and Biomedical Ethics. Advocacy Engagement. Her role as a breast cancer patient and caregiver to her husband, who passed due to metastatic head and neck cancer, allows her to comprehend the needs of patients and caregivers. Christina Sisti represents patients and caregivers on the U.S. Federal Drug and Administration’s Patient Engagement Collaborative, the National Cancer Institute’s NCI Technology Research Advocacy Partnership, the Clinical Research Advocacy program, as a member of the National Cancer Institute’s Head and Neck Cancer Steering Committee, and the Department of Defense’s CDMRP. Additionally, she has presented at national and international conferences on “Bioethics and Patient Advocacy” and “Research Ethics Patient Advocacy.” Also, she volunteers with Moffitt Cancer Center and Cancer Nation’s Policy and Advocacy Team. Her work with these groups includes meeting with state and federal legislators to advance cancer health policy.
